PNG Mining and Shandong Land Mining Authority workshop dedicated to mineral rights exploration

Ningbot, March 27, 2026. In order to advance the offshore mineral resources exploration and development landscape, to streamline the landing of high-quality mineral resources exploration in Papua New Guinea and to achieve a high standard of cooperation project preparation and orderly annual exploration tasks,PNG Mining-related work with the Department of Geological Minerals Survey and Development of Shandong ProvinceJoint meetingPNG 7 priority mineral rights exploration plans for special seminarsI don't know. The parties undertook a thorough and detailed study of the core issues of the geological profile of the mine block, the technical path of the survey, the annual construction plan, the redeployment of personnel and equipment, the management of security compliance and the subsequent development of the interface, with a clear definition of the work node, responsibility for the consolidation of the work, the finalization of the rules of implementation, and the establishment of the pre-barrel basis for the substantive start of the geological exploration of the seven mine block blocks of the PNG. It is understood that this seminar will focus on the New Territories.7 core, high-quality mining rights blocksIt covers a wide range of strategic mineral resources, including copper, gold, nickel and cobalt, with high resource potential, high development value and high market prospects. It is a central focus of deepening practical cooperation in offshore mining and promoting the transformation of resource advantage into industrial advantage. As the core specialized agency for geological surveying throughout the province, the Shandong Land Mining Agency, with its strong skills in geological surveying, extensive field experience, well-developed technical talent ladders and standardized surveying operational systems, has a full-chain professional work in deep-tilled mineral geology, exploration and construction, resource stock assessment, and geological data analysis, and has a well-established operational capability for offshore mineral exploration projects and extensive experience in the practical conduct of transnational mining cooperation, to provide solid technical support and professional security for the exploration of the new mine rights in the PNG. At the workshop, the workshops provided information on the progress of their work, the results of previous studies and progress in the preparation of the project. The technical team of Shandong Land Mines reported in detail on the preliminary implementation programme for the survey of seven mining blocks, geological work planning, field construction processes, technical standards and the expected objectives of the survey results, with a detailed description of the key technical components, such as geomorphological survey difficult points, geological tectonic focus, sampling test specifications and survey cycle release. In conjunction with local mineral resource management policies, mining rights regulatory requirements, territorial compliance approval processes and the physical environment of offshore operations, the PNG mining workshop identified specific matching needs for work related to conditions of access to exploration and construction, on-site coordination safeguards, information dissemination, safe environmental control and follow-up mining rights development linkages. The participants in the meeting explored seven mineral rightsScheduling of work plans, tasking of the survey phase, deployment of technical staff, preparation of transport of equipment, safety and security of field operations, sharing of survey data and regular consultation mechanism for project progressThese include in-depth consultations on a case-by-case basis, line-by-line streamlining of hard-to-work and docking points, coordination of solutions for on-site communication, harmonization of working standards, harmonization of the pace of advancement, and harmonization of the interface mechanism. The meeting culminated in a consensus of views on the time nodes, the division of responsibilities and the liaison mechanism for the interface between the phases, the finalization of the core series of explorations, such as batches, stylized surface geological fill maps for the orderly advancement of partition blocks, physicoprospecting, drilling works, and resource stock accounting, to ensure the scientific regulation, safety, efficiency and steady and orderly advancement of seven mineral rights exploration projects. The successful convening of the special seminar marked the formal entry into the substantive preparatory phase of the seven PNG mineral rights exploration. As a next step, the PNG Mining and Sandong Lands Bureau will work on the basis of the consensus reached at this meeting, working in close collaboration and synergy with each other, moving forward rapidly with the implementation of pre-preparatory work, high standards and high-quality tasks to advance offshore geo-prospecting, precision mapping of the new key mineral resource base of the country, consolidation of a solid foundation for cooperation in the follow-up to mineral development, continued deepening of in-depth and practical cooperation in the mining field between the two sides, joint construction of a cross-border mineral resource exploration and development cooperation pole project, complementarity of resources, technical synergies and mutual benefits, and support for high-quality and synergistic development of the mining industry.
