PNG (Ningbo) Mining has successfully completed landowner hearings for two exploration licence projects it is advancing in East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea:
- EL 2883: the hearing was held at 10:00 a.m. on 1 September 2026 at Mesak Village, Agoram;
- EL 2931: the hearing was held at 10:00 a.m. on 7 September 2026 at Bigaru Village, Ambunti-Drekikir.
Both hearings were held in traditional local meeting houses, attended by landowners and community representatives from surrounding villages in large numbers. The company team presented the exploration scope, environmental commitments and community benefit arrangements in a bilingual format (English and Tok Pisin), and listened carefully to the landowners' views and concerns. The communities expressed understanding and support for the projects, and the hearings were concluded successfully in a cordial atmosphere.
