The 2026 (28th) China International Mining Conference was recently held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Centre. PNG (Ningbo) Mining Co., Ltd. attended at invitation and held in-depth discussions with officials of Papua New Guinea's Mineral Resources Authority (MRA) on bilateral mining cooperation, achieving substantial results and successfully completing its conference agenda.

Themed "Win-Win Cooperation, Green and Smart Mining", the conference brought together mining government departments, companies and research institutions from dozens of countries and regions, and is one of the largest and highest-level annual events on the international mining calendar.
Visiting the MRA National Pavilion for In-Depth Exchange
During the conference, the Mineral Resources Authority of Papua New Guinea hosted a national pavilion showcasing the exploration and development potential and investment policies of PNG's priority mineral resources, including gold, copper and nickel. The PNG (Ningbo) Mining delegation visited the pavilion and held talks with MRA officials, exchanging candid views and building consensus on mineral exploration, mining tenure development, green mine construction and Chinese investment in PNG, before posing for a commemorative photo with the officials.
