In October 2025, the second International Mining Congress in Tianjin, China, was successfully held. PNG has been invited to participate in the exhibition, using the internationalization platform of the Congress to deepen the exchange of industry trends and opportunities for cross-border mining cooperation and to actively engage with domestic mining partners. During the same period, a special team of enterprises organized a field trip to Papua New Guinea on mineral resources, to conduct in-depth field surveys of key mining areas, to verify resource stocks and development conditions, and to communicate with local mining authorities on matters related to policy compliance, project approval and territorial operation.

On 28 October 2025, a group of three government officials from the Mineral Resources Authority of Papua New Guinea, working in the areas of mineral resource management, geological exploration and mining information editing, visited Ning Pokshan Harbor. The mission was well informed about the status of the major mineral pipelines in Ningbo Port, the operation of smart ports and the construction of cross-border logistics, and was highly impressed by the results of the construction of the world-class hub in Ningbo and the level of operational management. An in-depth exchange of views and a common understanding of cooperation between the two sides on the development of synergies between mining development and cross-border logistics will promote the mutually beneficial and win-win development of the two countries ' mining industries, taking into account the advantages of the logistics hub at the Port of Toniny Pork, and will work together to establish access to the sea for the new Pa/Pa minerals, deepen practical cooperation in the areas of mining, logistics, technology and information.

On 27 March 2026, the PNG Mining and Shandong Mines Authority convened a special working seminar to focus on thematic studies and planned deployments for the exploration of seven key mine-rights blocks in Papua New Guinea. In-depth consultations were held between the parties on key matters, such as survey technical programmes, construction time-series arrangements, redeployment of personnel and equipment, security compliance management and subsequent development of the interface, to clarify the division of labour, finalize implementation nodes and refine the advancement initiatives. The meeting provided a solid basis for the full launch of the seven major mining rights geological exploration work in PNG, and the two sides will rely on their respective resources and technical advantages to work together to advance the exploration of offshore minerals, deepen practical cooperation in mining and contribute to mutually beneficial and win-win development in the development of cross-border mineral resources.

On October 29, 2025, three officials from the Papua New Guinea Mineral Resources Authority in charge of mineral management, geo-prospecting and information editing visited the Aux air-conditioning headquarters to highlight the intellectual and industrial development of the enterprise. There is a consensus that PNG will work together on all aspects of mining, logistics and air-conditioning manufacturing in order to help the PNG to improve its basic support industry and to achieve a mutually beneficial development of its resources and industry.
